Friendship
In the freedom of our friendship
with its edges undefined -
we walk awhile
step back and forth
and sit and sip in sun.
In the moments of our meeting
as we move and merge our minds -
we lift and lurch
dart and stretch
and dream into our day.
In the parting of our pathway
as we turn and say goodbye -
we take the laughter
in our hearts
until we meet again.
